My approach to tarot readings

Different people use tarot in different ways. For me, tarot is a tool to connect to your intuition, look at things from new perspectives, and find possible routes forward. I don’t use tarot to predict the future or in a psychic way.

My readings are collaborative. Rather than simply telling you what the cards mean, I will support you in finding your own emotional and intuitive relationship with them, and connecting them to your own life—whether or not you have any background or knowledge of tarot.

In my readings I seek to create a safe, compassionate and empathetic space where you feel supported and empowered. My readings are always confidential.

Topics for readings

In my readings, we can either focus on a specific area of your life or situtation you’re looking for some guidance around, or explore your life as a whole.

Alongside more general topics such as family, relationships, home and career, I feel especially well-placed to give readings on the following due to my own personal experience (please note, I cannot give medical or legal advice, nor am I a qualified therapist):

  • Navigating life as a queer, trans or nonbinary person, or exploring your sexuality or gender identity (I am a lesbian trans woman)
  • Navigating life with autism, disability or chronic illness (I am autistic and have lived with Chronic Fatigue Syndrom/ME for 5 years, and have also worked for various charities supporting disabled people)
  • Activism and organising (I have years of experience in activism and organising, including student activism, party political activism, and organising as part of a tenant’s union)
  • Exploring your spirituality (this has been a lifelong journey for me; I have converted to Judaism and also identify as a witch)

Types of readings

I offer readings both in-person in Edinburgh and virtually over Zoom.

I offer two different types of readings, at both a standard and a low-income rate:

  • Quick overview (30 minutes), £30 standard or £20 low-income
  • In-depth reading (one hour), £60 standard or £45 low-income

You can get in touch here if you’d like to book a reading, or if you have any questions.

Events

In addition to one-on-one readings, I am also happy to offer readings at events. I have read tarot at events for organisations including LGBT Health and Wellbeing, the Glasgow Women’s Library, as well as a pride event, a book launch, a feminist charity’s AGM and more!

You can get in touch here if you’re interested in booking me for your event.
